A pleated trouser from ISSEY MIYAKE. Featuring narrow cocoon style leg with a tapered hem, an elasticated waist band and with side and rear pockets.

BEHIND THE BRAND:

Pleats Please was launched in 1994 as a capsule collection to help showcase Issey Miyake's iconic pleating technique. The now renowned technic was first seen in the mainline collection in 1988: the collection brought fluidity and modernity to the otherwise understated dresses and separates. The collection combines versatility with functionality with light weight and crease-proof material, making the pieces perfect for every occasion and day-to-day wear. The unique material is developed single threads, and the pleats are added after the pieces are shaped. The designers follows the mantra "design is not for philosophy, but for life", she uses this concept is still used to evolve the collection today.
